This website

This site is a simple, static showcase. It uses no analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising and sets no cookies. Visiting it does not create an account or collect personal information.

The software

Ampchor runs on your own computer and your files stay on your own machine. It is not a cloud service, the studio has no servers that store your library and your media is never uploaded to us.

Metadata (posters, cover art, credits) is fetched from public providers to enrich your library; those requests are made by your own machine. The first time you open Ampchor it asks if you want to share anonymous reports that help fix bugs. Nothing is sent unless you say yes, reports contain no personal information and are deleted after 30 days, and you can change your answer anytime in Settings → Privacy.
